Transformative Feminist Leadership Programme (2026/27)
Programme Background:
Over the years, HER Fund has worked alongside organisations advancing gender equality and sexuality rights. Through this work, we have seen organisers face a range of internal and external challenges, including discrimination based on gender or sexual orientation, the marginalisation or misrepresentation of gender and sexuality issues in public discourse, limited organisational resources, and difficulties in team communication.
In response, HER Fund launched the Transformative Feminist Leadership Programme (TFL) in 2019 to strengthen the resilience of organisations and individuals in navigating both internal and external challenges.
Transformative Feminist Leadership is grounded in feminist and people-centred values. It centres the well-being and wholeness of each organiser and supports organisations in sustaining meaningful internal dialogue. It recognises that every individual within a collective can exercise influence and leadership, regardless of their formal position or level of authority within the organisation.
“To create social change, we must begin by transforming the groups and organisations we are part of.” — TFL Programme participant
Programme Objective:
