|Partner||Union of Nepalese Domestic Workers in Hong Kong (UNDW)|
|Concern Area||Freedom from Discrimination|
According to the study by UNIFEM, Nepali/ Indian domestic workers in Hong Kong generally do not enjoy weekly day-offs and often are underpaid, yet they are largely unaware of their labour rights. They have no knowledge about trade union and not knowing where to seek help. Through the community survey, UNDW reaches out to collect information about the working conditions of Nepali/Indian domestic workers, and raise their awareness on labour law protection. Members of the Union will be trained to conduct the survey, and building their mutual help leadership as well.
