Transforming Values into Action: Taking Bold Leaps, Empowering Breakthroughs

Since last September, HER Fund has gathered more than 60 local and overseas philanthropic practitioners from 30+ organisations to explore trust-based practices under our “Transforming Values into Action” Initiative.
In the past convenings, we had harvested best practices of trust-based philanthropy in Asia, identified key challenges in Hong Kong, and gathered collective solutions from stakeholders. It is time to bring together NPOs and funders at the frontline, to address current dilemma, create synergies and possibilities of the impact ecosystem.
This event will feature:
▪ Panel Discussion
Bringing together pioneering NPOs and funders to share their experience and experiments in the sector to dissect dilemmas, make breakthroughs in their organisation and raise awareness in nurturing a more favourable philanthropic environment that best serve the needs of the communities.
▪ Breakout Sessions
As part of the ecosystem, come together for a candid exchange, discussion and reflection. We will validate assumptions, break the biases and build synergies as a collective. Takeaway with a next step for your own organisation.
▪ Networking Opportunities
Connect with like-minded peers and exchange ideas.

Venue: Sheung Wan, Hong Kong Island
Language: Primarily English (with Cantonese interpretation available), discussions can take place in Cantonese or as comfortable
Target Audience:

▪ Social Enterprises
▪ Grant-making bodies e.g. Foundations / Family Offices / Corporate CSR / Impact Investors etc.
