Advance Project Design Using Gender Perspective

HER Fund provides funding to local grassroots women organisations, supporting the least-heard and the most vulnerable marginalised women, girls and trans people.  We wish to empower the capacities of their organisations as well as their inner strength. In the hope to improve the situations faced by the women and hence build a more equal society. 

Working with our grantee partners over the years, we stressed the importance of gender perspective. We reflect whether the organisations and the granted projects set sails from a women perspective and how we demonstrate gender perspective in our works and work culture.

However, why does HER Fund uphold gender perspective, women’s autonomy and empowerment and social impact in  project review? How do these principles resonate down the advancement of gender equality? In the two modules of the workshop, we will share our outlook on gender perspective and social impact, and reflect on, with our partners, how to  make gender perspective a common practice in our works. And above all else, we inspire, collectively.

Event details

In the two modules, participants will explore “gender perspective” through case sharing, group discussion and interaction.. You are encouraged to join both modules to enable a more comprehensive understanding of the topic.
