ABOUT Change Make-HER

This event is themed Change Make-HER and is dedicated to participants who are struggling with gender and the change they want to create.

Change does not root in life by nature but by choice after coming out of a storm. We have invited women entrepreneurs, a gender studies scholar, social enterprises’ founders and feminists to foster a meaningful conversation about how gender matters to their lives and how they overcome stereotypes and limitations to become the change agencies they are today. Through sharing, thinking, dialogue and an interactive cloth sanitary napkins DIY workshop, we explore with participants the importance of owning our bodies and how diverse identities shape a future that we envision.

*All proceeds after costs and expenses will fully go to HER Fund to support local grassroots women groups and organisations through making grants and providing capacity building training to improve women's lives and advance women’s rights.
