| Outline | Association of Women with Disabilities Hong Kong (AWDHK) strives to combat gender injustice and discrimination faced by women with disabilities for over 20 years, including research and awareness-raising. However, the lack of manpower and resources limits their operation and organisational development.
The grant primarily supports AWDHK financially and allows them to recruit and reallocate human resources to relieve the current workload. Moreover, team expansion enables them to consolidate previous research materials and improve their documentation and filing system. The archives would smoothen up their research process in the future for promoting the rights of women with disabilities, locally and internationally. |
