| Outline | The project is granted to sustain the refugee women's mutual support group facilitated by Grassroots Future. The mutual support group aims to provide a safe space for women to learn crocheting, sewing and making clothes. Apart from acquiring skills to pave way for self-reliance in the future, the programme allows refugee women to meet with other refugee women, where they can rest, relieve their stress and learn from one another. They have also created a WhatsApp group to keep the connection. The project this year aims to strengthen the leadership capacity of refugee women. They will be trained as coaches, and through mutual learning and support, refugee women can gradually take up the leading role to plan and organise courses in responding to the needs of the community. |
