| Outline | Onebookhalf Gender Space has already successfully completed two phases for its Gender Equality Leadership Program. This project, which is the third phase, is a cooperation between Onebookhalf Gender Space and the Association for the Advancement of Feminism. The program's introductory session, which is the first half of the program, consists of 4 lessons, is to familiarize apprentices with gender issues in Hong Kong. In between the lessons, mentors from different sectors are invited to guide the apprentices about the gender perspective and the skills needed for advocacy work. An advanced class is offered to assist them in developing an actual advocacy project. All individuals who enrolled in any of the introductory sessions are encouraged to apply to further their knowledge. This program intends to cultivate a new generation of gender equality activists and to continue advocating for equal rights by putting the concepts into practice |
