- Run for Gender Equality in Hong Kong
Run for Infinity 2019 was held in April 2019 with the support of Lan Kwai Fong Association. Runners had the chance to run past top Lan Kwai Fong attractions as well as some of the city's iconic landmarks - The Fringe Club, and Tai Kwun and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. The annual Run for Infinity Race nominated HER Fund as their event beneficiary in April 2019 and raised HK$83,990.
- University Women support gender equality
An annual gathering was held by the young ladies on the fourth floor "Rainbow Village" of the University of Hong Kong Simon K.Y. Lee Hall to fundraise for HER Fund.
- Strengthening Women’s Voices through Music
Light of Women Concert by Sabrina Tang engaged 10 local women singers to support the work of HER Fund and the community by holding a concert in October 2019 on behalf of HER Fund. The concert raised HK$85,990 towards advancing women’s rights.
- The power and beauty of women
HER Fund had the honour to be one of The Women Festival’s beneficiaries in August 2019. The festival is dedicated to celebrating the power and beauty of women and encompasses many fields, from music, films, to spirituality and health, focusing on the theme of “I’m A Woman”.
- Lifting Up the next Generation of Women
In October 2019, HER Fund held their first fundraising luncheon thanks to our sponsors Global Fund for Women, RS Group and Allen Overy. Over 70 guests joined us for lunch to network and hear from our panellists who shared their experience and learnings around the topic of "Lifting up the Next Generation Women”. A total of HK$125,278.04 was raised to go towards HER Fund's community programs and initiatives to improve the lives of women and girls.
- Connecting through wellness on International Women’s Day 2020
HER Fund commemorated International Women’s Day 2020 by partnering with Fivelements Habitat to help create an event dedicated to powerful women. HER Fund gathered a group of Hong Kong female founders from our grassroots organizations to explore themes such as wellness practices, conscious business, and female empowerment.
